BINGKA ROTI (HOMEMADE BREAD PUDDING)

Bingka Roti (Homemade Bread Pudding) Recipe @ treatntrick.blogspot.comB

Bingka Roti - A baked dessert using bread slices, eggs, milk and plain flour that was firmer and easy to slice.

I have a few slices of stale bread lying on the counter.  To rescue those bread  am making a bread pudding or Bingka Roti.

This Bingka Roti was slightly different from my earlier bread pudding recipe. as it was firmer and easy to slice due to addition of plain flour.

You can choose other add ins such as sweet corn, jack fruit or banana.   Also  instead of milk, opt for coconut milk instead.

This looks soooo yummy! I love the suggestion of making it with coconut milk instead - that's the way I would do it I think. (I just love coconut milk.) Thanks for linking up at Share the Wealth Sunday - looking forward to see what you're cooking up next week!

Interesting. Does the recipe work if you use mostly bread crusts? My kids tend to eat just the inside of the bread and leave the crusts, so I always end up with lots of crusts around. This would be a wonderful way to use them...
Anyway, thank you for sharing this recipe over at The Really Crafty Link Party, and have a wonderful week!

What a lovely way to use up stale bread. I also like that your delicious bread pudding cuts into firm squares, perfect for taking along for packed lunches or a portable breakfast. Thank you for being a part of the Hearth and Soul Link Party community!
